SABLAYAN, Occidental Mindoro – More than 4,000 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) across the Mimoropa region are set to receive land titles and debt condonation certificates from the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) on Friday.

The awarding of e-titles, certificates of land ownership award (CLOAs), and certificates of condonation with release of mortgage (CoCRoMs) is in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to uplift farmers through land ownership and financial freedom.

The distribution will be held at the Sablayan Astrodome in Occidental Mindoro, with simultaneous ceremonies in all five provinces of Mimaropa, composed of Mindoro (Oriental and Occidental), Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan.

The event seeks to secure land tenure, free farmers from decades of unpaid amortizations, and empower rural communities through sustainable agrarian reform programs.

A total of PHP186.9 million worth of land debts will be condoned under the New Agrarian Emancipation Act, benefiting 3,002 farmers across the region.

The 754 e-titles to be distributed for 702 agrarian reform farmers cover 808 hectares, while 395 CLOAs for 474 ARBs include 406 hectares.

The 3,482 CoCRoMs will benefit 3,002 ARBs, condoning P186.9 million in amortizations.

DAR Secretary Conrado Estrella III emphasized that the activity reflects the government’s steadfast commitment to bringing genuine progress to the countryside.

“This event is not just about distributing documents. It’s about giving our farmers the freedom to dream and the power to decide their future,” Estrella said.

The regional event will be livestreamed from the main venue in Sablayan and broadcast on the official Facebook page of DAR 4-B (Mimaropa), allowing beneficiaries, stakeholders, and the public across the region to witness this milestone.
