Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) recorded strong growth in the Clark hub, flying over 1 million passengers via the Clark International Airport (CRK) last year.

This is up 36 percent from close to 300,000 passengers in 2023.

The Gokongwei-led airline's average monthly seat grew by 102 percent to 161,000 in December 2024 from 79,000 in January. The average number of flights almost doubled from 441 in January to 872 in December.

“We are delighted by the strong growth we achieved in 2024, which highlights the growing demand for accessible air travel among our passengers from Central and Northern Luzon," CEB chief marketing and customer experience officer Candice Iyog said in a statement.

The airline currently services 11 domestic and international destinations via Clark.

These are Bohol, Caticlan, Cebu, Davao, General Santos, Iloilo, Puerto Princesa, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Narita and Singapore.
