The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) said that they are intently monitoring the prices of bottled water in Baguio City.

According to Mayor Benjamin Magalong, he had received reports of an unusual price increase in bottled mineral water.

This follows the diarrhea outbreak in the city.

According to the DTI Baguio-Benguet Consumer Protection Division, the initial random inspection was conducted on January 11, covering four establishments. 

Ralph Altiyen said that they will be conducting another round of inspections.
