THE Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said that they had a successful dry run with their newest online lottery system or E-lotto.

This was announced by PCSO General Manager Mel Robles, who said that they want to make the betting more convenient and accessible to Filipinos 18 years old and above.

It is a web-based registration and has a mobile phone app is expected next year.

Robles said that the bettors just needs to have a Philippine government-issued ID and a Philippine SIM number.

He said that they expect the total sales to reach P70 billion.

Meanwhile, starting December 16, the minimum jackpot prize for the Grand Lotto 6/55 and Ultra Lotto 5/58 games will be P500 million. 

Robles said that it is part of the ‘Handog Pakabog’ Christmas program.
