The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has inaugurated its newest Non-Life Insurance Hub at the GSIS Quezon City Branch Office, completing the rollout of insurance hubs in all branches nationwide under the agency’s unified brand, "Ginhawa Insure, Para Sure."

The facility is designed to provide easier and faster access to insurance services for government workers, dependents, and public institutions, covering everything from personal accident and fire insurance to the protection of government buildings, vehicles, and equipment.

"With this hub, we aim to make it easier and faster for our members to access critical insurance services,” GSIS President and General Manager Arnulfo "Wick" Veloso said during the opening ceremony.

"As risks become more complex, government institutions need timely and reliable insurance solutions. This hub strengthens our commitment to provide efficient protection, right where it's needed," he said.

The Quezon City hub serves both individual and institutional clients. Members and their qualified dependents can avail themselves of motor vehicle, fire, and personal accident insurance. These products offer financial protection from vehicle-related incidents, fire damage to homes, third-party liability, injury, and loss of life due to accidents.

Property officers from government agencies can also file applications, renewals, and claims for institutional insurance coverage, as mandated by Republic Act No. 656, which designates GSIS as the official insurer of public assets.

The new hub is part of GSIS’s broader digital expansion strategy, with plans to integrate the Ginhawa Insure program into the GSIS Touch mobile app. It will operate from Tuesday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The launch comes as GSIS reports sustained growth in its non-life insurance operations. From January to May 2025, the agency recorded P7.59 billion in gross premiums written —an 11.9 percent increase from the same period last year.

In 2024, GSIS collected P10.5 billion in premiums, surpassing its P8.9- billion target.
