OIL companies have pointed in the upward direction anew, as the price of petroleum products will be jacked up on April 16, Tuesday.

According to Petron, Seaoil and Caltex, effective 6 a.m., they will have a P0.40 increase per liter for gasoline; P0.85/liter increase for kerosene and P0.95/liter increase for diesel.

Likewise, Petrogazz and Jetti Petroleum will increase the same amount for gasoline and diesel. They do not sell kerosene.

The companies claimed that the increase is due to the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.
