BUTUAN CITY – The management of Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) in the town of Bunawan has assured that all existing and ongoing infrastructure projects in the institution are on track.

ASSCAT president D. Joy Capistrano, accompanied by other top officials, visited the construction of two major school facilities on Monday.

The projects include the construction of the College of Teacher Education (CTE) building worth P37 million and the Graduate School building with a budget of P18.45 million.

“Joined by the in-house engineers from the Project Management Unit, the top management personally checked the progress of the projects to ensure they are on track with the timeline and meet the required standards,” the ASSCAT said in a statement on Tuesday.

The CTE Building is expected to be completed in May 2026 to provide modern classrooms, faculty rooms and offices designed for a more student-centered and functional learning environment. 

The Graduate Studies building will offer upgraded spaces for higher-level academic work and research.

“The inspection highlighted ASSCAT’s commitment to transparency and accountability in the use of public funds, as well as its drive to provide facilities that match the growing needs of its students and faculty,” the school said.
