LISTED power generation firm DMCI Power Corp. (DPC) said that in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s goal in ensuring a stable supply of electricity across the country, they are providing stable power to off-grid areas in 2023.

According to a disclosure Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) the parent company DMCI Holdings Inc. had declared that the DPC sold 454 gigawatt hours (GWh) of electricity in 2023, 7 percent higher than the 426 GWh sales volume in 2022.

Likewise the DPC said that they are operating in off-grid areas like Masbate, Palawan, and Oriental Mindoro.

Also, the DPC noted that Palawan had overtook Masbate as their largest market.

The energy sales in Palawan also increased by 12 percent to 200 GWh.
