THE Philippine Statistics Authority said that they had revised upward the gross domestic product growth in the third quarter of 2023 to 6 percent from 5.9 percent.

According to the PSA, there are many contributors to the upward revision.

Among those include that in manufacturing, financial and insurance activities.

It also includes accommodation and food service activities, the PSA said.

Likewise the PSA said they revised the GDP estimates as based on the  approved revision policy, consistent with international standard practices on national accounts revisions.
