ABS-CBN Corp announced that they will not push through with the sale of their interest in Sky Cable Corp. to the Manny Pangilinan-led PLDT Inc.

In a disclosure made at the Philippine Stock Exchange, ABS-CBN Corp mentioned that the move was agreed upon by both parties.

They said that it has been mutually decided by both ABS-CBN and PLDT.

"ABS-CBN Corporation and PLDT have mutually decided not to proceed with the sale of Sky Cable to PLDT under the Sale and Purchase Agreement signed by and among the parties in March 2023," the company said.

Meanwhile, Sky Cable has started that their cable TV subscriptions will continue.
