ABS-CBN Corp reported that the regular advertising sales from January to September grew to P4.829 billion, which is higher by 18 percent compared to the same period last year.
The statement said that the sales came from election-related advertising sales in 2022.
The advertising revenues total in the first 3 quarters was flat compared to the same period last year, it said.
But consumer sales has slowed down by 8 percent to P8.691 billion.
This is when compared to 2022. They attributed this to the decline in cable TV and satellite consumers for both Sky and TFC.
In their disclosure to the stock exchange, they said that the total consolidated revenues for the first 9 months of the year reached P13.52 billion compared to the previous period's P13.556 billion.
This excludes the non-recurring advertising revenues.
Meanwhile the recurring net loss is at P3.396 billion.
This is lower when compared to the P4.463 billion in the same period in 2022.
