MORE than 4. 5 million videos in the Philippines were taken down by social media app Tiktok during the second quarter of 2023.

The issues are due to violating their community guidelines, the social media platform said.

According to the latest Community Guidelines Enforcement Report, TikTok had deleted 4,596,796 videos that were immediately removed from April to June.

They said that it broke platform rules.

Meanwhile some 92 percent of these were removed before they were viewed.

Others on the other hand had 96.3 percent removed within 23 hours.

Meanwhile, globally, there were more than 106 million views that were taken by the social media company from April to June. 

Meanwhile, some 66 million of these were removed by automation.
