OIL companies announced that there will be an upward trend for petroleum products effective Tuesday.
In separate advisories issued by Seaoil, Caltex and Shell will jack up their prices for diesel prices by P0.30 per liter, while kerosene will have P0.65 per liter.
Meanwhile, Cleanfuel, Jetti and PTT Philippines will also increase diesel prices by P0.30 per liter. They do not carry gasoline.
On the other hand, there will be no movements for gasoline.
Oil companies had implemented a slight decrease on pump prices last week, with gasoline prices going down by P0.75 per liter, diesel by P0.65 and kerosene by P0.60.
According to the data from the Department of Energy (DOE) showed that as of Nov. 21, price adjustments resulted in a year-to-date net increase of P12.30 per liter for gasoline, P5.70 per liter for diesel and P1.09 per liter for kerosene.
