THE Economic Managers of the Marcos Administration said that they are targeting a national budget of over P6 trillion for 2025.
Likewise it has a 6 percent GDP growth for this year.
But the Development Budget Coordination Committee said that they have narrowed the growth target range for next year to 6.5 to 7.5 percent.
This is from the previous range of 6.5 to 8 percent.
During the third quarter, the GDP expanded 5.9 percent.
The average for the first three quarters is at 5.5 percent.
“This growth momentum is expected to continue for the rest of the year and surpass that of our neighboring countries,” the DBCC said in a statement.
In order to reach the government target of at least 6 percent growth for 2023, the GDP has to grow at least 7.2 percent in the fourth quarter.
