The Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) raised P30 billion from the Treasury bond (T-bonds) auction on Tuesday.

With a remaining term of five years and two months, the reissued T-bond fetched an average yield of 5.943 percent.

The average yield was slightly higher than the 5.921 percent prevailing Bloomberg Valuation Service rate for the security.

The auction was 1.8 times oversubscribed with total tenders reaching P55.2 billion.

With its decision, the Auction Committee raised the full program of P30 billion.

The BTr said this brings the total outstanding volume for the series to P291.7 billion.
